Awesome looking bike. I don't plan on selling my FZ6R, but when I eventually get a second 1000cc bike I'm not sure what I'm gonna get yet. I see too many ninjas in my area... kind of a turn off if everyone has the same bike. One of the reasons I love the FZ6R here.
Again, great bike though!
I agree fully with BKP. You've got an SS. You're looking for a non-SS that is still fun. The FZ6R is perfect. Test ride to make sure you'll enjoy the ride, but if you really aren't looking to have two SSs, get the FZ6R.
I just started riding so I'm going to give it a month or two before I do, but I plan on listening to music on the shorter / low speed drives. I love the feel of riding without anything in my ears, but sometimes it'd be nice to have the option to switch. So I'll be looking for something that...
How hard is it to do this? I've got the High Fusion Tech Spec grips on their way to me to cover my decals, but I'd like to remove the decals just for the sake of not having them on there anymore. Is it a difficult / expensive procedure? Will it look like I did it myself or will it blend in with...
Just received my Tech Spec sheets in the mail today, planning on putting them on after work. Will post in my bike's thread when completed, and will add a picture to this post if I remember to take one. Thanks again for the template! :D
Edit: Well, just kidding. I got the wrong stuff in the...
Pretty badass BKP. I've only been diving once, while on a cruise to Mexico. I loved it, and have my honeymoon cruise Aug 19th through the 26th. I can't wait to dive again. I hope to get my diving cert soon.
As for this thread, my "other" hobby aisde from my newfound love for working/riding on...
I've had mine for about 2 weeks now and went on the highway about 4 days ago for the first time. It wasn't all that bad, got up to 72 no problem. Takes a little bit to get used to the wind, but that's about it. And that's coming from someone brand new to motorcycles.
I do prefer backroads...
Would touch-up paint from colorrite be enough to fix his scratch problem? I've been wondering the same thing myself. My bike has no scratches, but if I were ever to scratch the fairing, I'd like to know if colorrite touch up paint would be enough if it wasn't too bad.
And yes, the fairings...
Haha, same situation. I liked seeing motorcycle on the road, but never really saw myself on one. She had me sit on one just for the hell of it at a dealership, and instantly I wanted one. Bought the FZ6R, riding the hell out of it, will never sell it :) Gotta love the wives for knowing what we...
I've ridden a few cruisers, not enough to say I'm experienced in their riding style. However, FZwhite is right. Anything less than 1100ccs on a real cruiser is going to be very boring and very uncomfortable. They weigh 250-400 lbs more on average than our bike, so the acceleration is strained on...
Stick with Canyon Chasers walkthrough. That's the exact project I'm doing tomorrow. It's pointless to do the 100$ option when there's virtually no added benefits compared to the 25$ option. As well as it's probably more complicated. Just put a fuse right after the battery and you shouldn't have...
