+1. Fill-up while upright; nozzle partially out. Never had a problem. (I suppose you could have the stand down as a precaution) Also, where I am in Ontario, there are hardly any full-service gas attendants. Most are self-service. Fill-up yourself; bike and car.

Wow, there are some good insurance rates in the States. Insurance in Ontario is expensive (different rules apply though). I'm paying State Farm almost $900/year for full coverage. And that's a good rate for the Toronto area (cheaper than my car anyway).
