    Fairing help/advice needed

On your second image it looks like that black piece just needs to be popped back out and slid-in correctly and long as none of the tabs on the actual fairing are broken it should go back to fitting snug. Hope you got a few hundred off the bike for the damage.

    Brake light

While searching through the internet for the correct size I usually came to this thread and it didn't really have an answer for which bulb is for the tail light/brake light of the fz6r. So it's a 7443 in case anyone else can't seem to find that elsewhere.

    Front fairing stay help.

Well, I've fanagled with the stay a bit and actually have gotten nearly everything fitting with no gap. So for those that have had front end collisions or even minor damage and you've noticed gaps in your fairings, I would check your fairing stay. That or replace it if you've got the money to...

    Front fairing stay help.

Alright, so long story short my bike was in an accident quite a while ago. I ran into the back of a car and ever since my fairings haven't quite fit right. Today I've torn the bike down to try and see what all is bent and I'm thinking my front stay might be but I don't have a frame of reference...

I would definitely be interested in a video, also. DC area you say? How far from Woodbridge are you, I've lived in the area for a bit but haven't seen many fz6r riders around?

    Harbor Freight rear stand?

The harbor freight wheel stand is essentially what you buy to hold you over until you get a more robust system. It's shoddy at best and definitely will start to fall apart eventually. I would check Craigslist in your local area for deals on rear wheel stands, I was able to snag a pit bull stand...

How cleaning my chain (probably) saved my life.

Thought I might share some odd events that happened over the past two days. The short and sweet of the matter is that after rotating my tire while on a rear stand I began to hear some clicking noises coming from my chain, upon closer inspection I noticed that my chain guide was awfully close to...

How to VIDEO: Power Commander and Block-Off plates

Its the adv gear rev map. which ever one was recommended. The bike is riding well, i havent noticed any issues at all, ive tried getting on the throttle a bit here and there and it still feels about the same. Was just curious at all if anyone has had prolonged experience without the sensor then...

How to VIDEO: Power Commander and Block-Off plates

How to VIDEO: Power Commander and Block-Off plates

Quick question, the instructions for the speed sensor wire say 22-24 gauge wire. has anyone had any experience with using different gauge wire, or is it even possible to use a different gauge? good bad, or only the specific ones in the instructions. ive bought some t-tap connectors but am just...

stoplights, do you keep it in gear or nuetral ?

In the local area I keep it neutral most of the time, I know the timing of the lights so if its about to change I wont put it in neutral but out of the area im a little more cautious.

How's your stock battery holding up?

    Rain x??

When I ride in the rain, actual rain seeing is no issue tilt head side to side as mentioned. But the spray from the road when its stopped raining, or the spray from cars after a light rain its the worst. It doesnt build up droplets fast enough to shed off and really just blurs everything.

    Simple, but sweet!

Just thought id update a little farther down the line, My paint is holding up quite well, and the temperature has been up to at most 230 degrees Fahrenheit. No peeling off or anything catastrophic happening and it seems to weather all of my washes without any issues as well. so far so good on...
