I did a similar conversion using the FZ8 headlight bracket. But did you use an FZ8 headlight as well? Cause I used the 6R headlight and it doesn't look like the windscreen from the FZ8 will match up. They look l slightly different. Very nice looking bike!

I bought an FZ8 headlight bracket. Had to notch each side flang to bend it over so the headlight bolts would screw in. Not much fab at all and doesn't bounce at all! I know I know. Need to post pics. I'll try to get on that.

Same here. It'd be a HUGE help. As well as maybe a step by step. Is it just a matter of unbolting the fairing and getting the clamps? Seen a Tube video in fast forward of it done on the FZ6, my myself I've got the 6R. Not sure if its gonna be as easy. Might just start diggin into it right now...

Just got mine 2 weeks ago. $5,400 before tax + lic + assembly. $7,023 after. Try to get them to drop the assembly charge. I heard after the fact that it's an easy one to get them to drop. Just tell them you refuse to pay it cause your buying what you see not any sort of labor.
