A while back a friend of mine said he had an unused AGV helmet he wanted to give me. I asked what it looked like and he said it had some faces on it as he recalled.
When he gave it to me I noticed a sun and a moon with faces in them and and I asked him what kind of design it is and wtf with...
As much as I hated to, I listed my 2009 FZ6R yesterday on Craigslist. I love that bike but I don't need to keep two bikes. I am in the Southwest Florida area.
I have never had any issues with it. It has been completely flawless. I bought it new from dealer in Punta Gorda in December of...
I just bought a 2012 Ducati Diavel a couple of months ago. It is my first non Japanese bike and I will admit to being worried about reliability issues. But so far - 1300 miles - I have had no issues at all. The valve adjustment interval is 15,000 miles and it is expensive at around $1,500 but...
I know its is a personal preference, but istalling a +1 tooth (17 I think) front sprocket made the bike more enjoyable for me. And according to others here on the forum it makes the speedo reflect the actual road speed.
Also, being an old fart and a motorcycle rider, I am not too keen on the fact that it seems that all the auto makers are in a competition to cram as many distractions (touch screens and the like) into the cars. I feel that I could easly be taken out by some SOB looking down at his dashboard screen.
I hate the fact that a LOT of people fool around with their phones( dialing, web surfing, texting) while driving. I always try to get a look at the person behind me and to the side of me when stopped at a traffic light. If they are looking down, I try to stay get away from them as soon as...
My next bike is going to be a Ducati Diavel. But I am keeping my blue FZ6R because I love it (small, fast, reliable, fun) and because I am concerned about reliability issues with the Ducati.
The demo bike at my local dealer has been unridable for weeks now because "they are waiting for a...
"Ain't no beer in Murphy" (NC) is what the desk clerk told my wife and I after we checked in after a long day in the saddle.
So govern your self accordingly.
I agree with the previous post. My FZ6R rolled new out of the dealer a year ago and has never been back. I did not like the way they were giving me the hard sale on their maintenance program. They said that it was priced so low that they were losing money. Yea right!

You can get a tire plug kit a an auto parts store. It includes a reamer sort of a thing to ream out the nail hole and a soft plug with applicator. The plug bonds to the rubber in the tire. Some guys carry CO2 cartridges to refill the tire. I carry a small 6 or 7 inch long bicycle...
Sure you can.
Couple of suggestions: Try to remember to move around on the seat a lot. Sitting still for long periods invites the dreaded "ass pain". Also in my experience, taking an Aleve (or any kind of anti inflammatory) before you start and at mid day helps a lot.
Something to...
