    PCV and the O2 Sensor

Exactly what they did with mine. The good news is that you sent it to them! You'll be happy when you get it back after they tweak the code. :)

    PCV and the O2 Sensor

Great news!! I got the PC-V back from Dynotune and installed and the bike runs great!! Absolutely none of the problems from before and the performance is pretty awesome. I can feel a difference in the torque starting around 3k and the bike pulls strong and smooth throughout the power band...

    PCV and the O2 Sensor

Well - good news so far... Just heard back from the Dynotune tech who told me that there were some switches (software) that were not turned on in my unit. Didn't ask him how this could happen on just MY unit, but he said they fixed the problem and are sending the unit back. Hopefully, I'll...

    Insurance - Comprehensive/Collision?

I'm with Foremost as well (Farmers bike carrier) and pay about twice that. BUT - before this I hadn't ridden in over 20 years. As my agent explained to me, for the first year of my coverage my rate will be higher. After the first year it will drop down 50% - as long as I don't have more than 1...

    PCV and the O2 Sensor

Dynotune got my module today and asked for 5 days for them to figure out if the unit is bad. When I talked to the tech today, he said it was the first time he'd heard of my problem (but there are a couple of other techs) - so other than woj and myself, not sure if anyone else is having trouble...

Bee in my damn riding jacket!

Was coming home from a ride not to long ago, came up to a stop light and felt a sharp pinch on the ring finger of my left hand. I look down to see a bee sitting on my glove down where my ring finger and pinky meet. Damn sucker had stung me through my glove! And yeah - I'm certain it looked funny...

    Got gear?

always wear gloves, jacket and helmet. Jacket has a removable leather outside that leaves a mesh inside keeping the armour. and SoCal has been pretty hot of late - no fun, but better to be safe when riding in LA.

    PCV and the O2 Sensor

So I'm sending the PC-V to Dynotune to take a look at it - they seem to think the unit may be bad. So my question is to those of you who have the TB exhaust and a K&N - did NOT having the PC-V installed cause any problems? Is the bike running lean or did you guys have it re-tuned? Thanks!

    PCV and the O2 Sensor

OK - mystery solved, troubles continue... Per Yamaha - "there is NO O2 sensor on the 2009 FZ6R." Per Power Commander - "hmmmmmmm - guess when we did the manual we thought the FZ6 and the FZ6R were close enough" And when I asked if they thought both bikes should have the same map (because...

    PCV and the O2 Sensor

nope - no where to be found and I'm not going back in there until I find someone who's done the install and can tell me where it is. Calling PC in the morning to see what they might suggest...

    PCV and the O2 Sensor

Well I solved part of the mystery - the photo showing the O2 sensor and it's position is for the FZ6. At least it's the same pic in the instructions PC supplies for the FZ6. I wonder if they ever even took a picture of the FZ6R...

    PCV and the O2 Sensor

Welp - ran like a champ for about 20 mins and then I got to an open road and opened it up through the gears. It felt amazingly smooth and strong throughout! But... when I came to a stop it stalled and now stalls intermittantly when ever I back off the throttle and seems to run a lot rougher...
