Actually it's not so much about the turns signals, the law in California says you must have a rear fender - so any FE crosses that line. As far as getting a ticket, rarely happens just for the FE but if you get caught for being stupid (particularly if you give attitude) it will probably be added...

If done correctly, it smooths out the power curve by optimizing the fuel/air ratio based on the rpm and throttle position.

Go to court, be INCREDIBLY apologetic (I will NEVER do it again, blah, blah, blah) and BEG for traffic school. The fine and school won't be cheap, but it will be cheaper than if you get defensive with the judge.

yep - and sent pictures to Puig per their request. They were very surprised... ordered the screen last July, got it in February, sent back a day later.... sigh :shakehead:

If you take it to be dynotuned, you will NOT need the autotuner - that is correct. :)

Typically, if you go a year without any problems (a combo of two 1 point incidents - tickets, accidents, etc) your rate should drop dramatically. At least thats what I experienced.

Puig has been unable to fill their orders for the FZ6R since last July - in theory (their last update) they will fill them this month. But I wouldn't hold your breath...

And if you look at the pics I posted at the beginning of the thread, not all of the mounts rely on the adhesive. The ones I used are suction cup (very strong) and a clamp type mount (again very strong). As F1inNH mentions, the plastic appears to be high impact and is very solid - not cheap at all.

The mount I used is the Roll Bar mount and does not come with the kit. It can be ordered for about $30. It was the only mount that I could use to get around the forks. The mounts that come with the kit could probably work if you didn't mind mounting the camera directly on the front fender -...

Yes - and let the police know this. They can run the plate and charge them with vandalism or malicious mischief - then you have some leverage to drop the charges if they just pay for the repairs. Saves the effort of going to small claims court.
