Change break-in oil a little early?

I did my first oil change at 200 miles and the second at around 600 miles with synthetic. Same with my Triumph. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD

I can't say for sure what models they'll have pre cut pads for, but if they don't have one for the bike you're looking for they also sell a cut your own kit. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD

    Frank's n00b QOTD: weather exposure

Compare any bike a few years old left outside all the time to the same model and year bike that is garage kept and you'll see there's a difference between survival and thriving. You might have a valid point if we washed our bikes for hours, or days, at a time. But since no one does, you don't...

    Frank's n00b QOTD: weather exposure

I wouldn't say that. There are issues that will crop up if you leave a bike in wet weather on a regular basis, like fog inside the instrument cluster and headlight, as well as possible electrical problems. Won't always be the case, but you're definitely increasing the odds of it happening...

As far as tank grips go, I went from being a big TechSpec fan to HT Moto. You can go to their site and request samples of their various materials and they'll send them to you for free. Once you decide which one to go with, they're much less expensive than TechSpecs are and have better adhesive...

    K&N oil filter.... PSA

I've heard of issues before with K&N oil filters. But that was due to the propensity of the paper filter to collapse making it worthless as a filter, and you wouldn't know it until the next time you did an oil & filter change. For this reason I never use K&N filters on any of my vehicles. I...

Oops! I Caused An Accident Today

No kidding. She's already jealous of all the time I spend on various forums. She's convinced herself I'm having an online affair. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD

Oops! I Caused An Accident Today

I gotta say, it's nice to see so many female forum members participating on here. Liz has been holding the fort since I joined, pretty much on her own. Glad to see some new ladies active. Some of the other ladies have kind of faded away, although xGreenEyesx is on more often since she's...

    Help..first time here..

Only if you're not comfortable doing it yourself. If you have the tools and basic mechanical skills, you should be able to do it in an afternoon. The dealer might be able to get the parts for you, but will charge you way more than you can find the parts online. So if you do take it to the...

Reminder: Always check your tire pressure!

It's "suggested" for a reason, and not "required". We're all different weights and have different needs. A little less pressure gets you better traction at the expense of tire wear. A little more pressure does the opposite. It's all about personal preference. Sent from my Nexus 7 using...

I'm sure any pics you're willing to post will be fine. Bonus if they're of you on the bike. And ATGATT stands for All the gear, All the time. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD

How do you all travel with a spare helmet?

Nothing bounces around in there because it has elastic straps inside to keep things in place, and also because I don't ride like a madman when carrying cargo. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD

Check out this bike for sale

I was tempted to ask the seller a question: Exactly how much meth does your "Bi*#$" do per day on average?

How to take your family motorcycling
