I'd recommend working on smoother downshifts rather than worrying about an expensive aftermarket part. Unless you're racing on a track, there's no reason you should need one. If you're constantly locking up the rear tire on your downshifts, that's a problem in your technique, not the bike. Not...

The Q3's are out now (with carbon fiber!) and they're the same price as the Q2's. The big knock against the Q2's is that they wear out so fast. Don't think the Q3's will change that trait either. If you have the money and time to change your tires every 4K miles, then I'm sure they're great...

The Michelin PR3's are pretty well acknowledged as the best "wet" tire out there. They're pretty good in the dry as well and have good life to boot. It's what I have on my FZ6R now and I've got no complaints.
