    Go pros for everyone

Since GoPro's use full sized SD cards, it would be an issue for most of us. I'm guessing that your Sony cam uses microSD's?

    Seat lock stuck

You'd need to remove 28 to lift the seat, and there's no way to get to them with the rear seat there. The other two are either inaccessible or are just to take the seat base/ battery cover off. Those are the ones you can see under the seat. Sitting on it and trying to unlock it won't get you...

    Seat lock stuck

I had that happen from time to time. Usually when I had more under the seat than I should have had. Pressing down on the seat, as already mentioned, usually helped. If that doesn't work, then try using a thin rod, or something else slim, flexible, yet stiff, that you can slide up under your...

    Game of Thrones

Nope. His brother is a fat guy with bad health, but smarter than everyone else in his family and a master strategist. Think Tyrion smarts, but at the head of the house, instead of it's runt. He plays the long game and doesn't rush in for revenge like his brother (and the rest of the...

    Safety Tether Switch

My local drag strip requires one as well... if your bike runs sub 10 seconds. Above that they don't, so I haven't had to worry about that since that's pretty darn fast. But I've wondered how to go about doing this as well, just in case I ever get to a point where I need one. I'll have to look...

    Customization/Personalization

There are many sites with decals. One such is ImmortalGraphix.com. As for gear, I've found that black matches everything. Might not be the best for visibility, but it will make you look cool in the back of the ambulance! In Austin, black might be too hot, in which case, white also matches...

    Leaving gear on a bike

That reminds me of last summer when I hit a yellow jacket while riding as we all do, and I figured the sucker was a greasy yellow stain on my jacket. Well, turns out he was a stowaway, but luckily it waited until I got home and was taking off my jacket before it started stinging me on my neck...

    Vote now for June BOTM!!!

Exactly. Set up the bike in front of a fountain or other neat architectural building in town or even an old abandoned factory/barn would look cool. My point is, you're trying to sell your bike to voters. All the voters see here is one pic of your bike, so you'd be better off getting the...

    Vote now for June BOTM!!!

When you're out riding, stop off somewhere somewhat scenic and pose the bike to where the sun is behind you and a view of something nice is behind your bike. Try shooting a few different angles and see what ones you like best when you get home and can see them on a bigger screen. You don't...

    Vote now for June BOTM!!!

Try taking a picture with something other than a phone in your carport. Who knows, it might help your cause. I consider the background and location as important (or more) than the bike. But maybe that's just me.

    Marthy is the truth!

*Edited* Or you know, just get a nice exhaust, some visual enhancements, high vis gear, a Stebel Nautilus duel tone air horn, and ride like you're invisible while keeping your head on a swivel. I'd prefer not to take on the quixotic task of evangelizing the Gospel of How to Drive to the...

My First Crash and Hit and Run...

It seems you rarely hear about these people being caught. I hope justice is served and you get compensation.

High-tech helmet w/ GPS, heads-up display, audio, rear view, etc.

As far as a $200 helmet vs. a $700 Shoei or Arai is concerned, lets just say that like most things, you get what you pay for. Are they safer? They're industry leaders and have much more R&D and testing than pretty much anyone else, so probably. They exceed the certification testing standards...

    Givi luggage and mounting hardware

Bump. I'm back from vacation, so not I'll make an effort to take some more detailed pics sometime this weekend.

My First Crash and Hit and Run...

Check the For Sale section of the classifieds here for some pegs and levers. Some of us change out for different ones will sell the stock parts for cheap. If not, I'd try looking for parts at StadiumYamaha.com. Cheapest place I've found for new OEM parts. Good luck and I hope justice is served.

    where has JT been?

Very nice truck. I just sold my truck as I rarely need a truck and went back to commuting in a car. Forgot how nice it is to be able to pull a U turn without going up on the curb or just whipping into a parking spot and ending up straight in one shot. :)
