    Fuel tank removal

You may be able to simple remove the front bolts on the tank, loosen the rear bolt and use the rear mount as a 'hinge'. Prop up the front of the tank with a board, or pull up with an elastic cord. You should be able to access your air filter.. (Make sure your tank is mostly empty, if you do this...

    Tail Light Connector

One source you could try is https://cycleterminal.com/ or https://newmotorcycleparts.net/electrical/connectors.html If you purchase the connectors, you can make your own cable assemblies, but either purchase a high quality crimp tool, and or learn how to solder, and solder the wires to the...

    R7

It seems to be calling many on the FZ07 Forum as well... By all accounts, a very good ride... I hope you have room in the garage for two bikes. ;)

    R7

    I agree. :) A 'sporty' street bike. :)

    R7

It IS an FZ-07, with upgraded suspension, full fairing, 'current level' brakes, upgraded front brake hydraulics (Brembo radial master). Looks good, the FZ-07 CP2 motor is a torque maker, so cool. Basically, an MT-07 with a sportbike riding position and the level of suspension it always should...

    Exhaust and fairing question

You may also be able to find a header pipe from an YZF R6 that fits, and fit a slip on to that... I believe that is another method.. You may find some on You Tube who have attempted that.

'09 FZ6R Jerky When Cruising On Flat Road

It you think it may be temp related, check your running temp. See if you can notice any correlation. Assuming all 'scheduled' maintenance has been done, not sure where to even begin. :) Talk with previous owner and see if he noticed any heat related issues. Maybe someone else could jump in here? ;)

'09 FZ6R Jerky When Cruising On Flat Road

Notice any change in RPM? Any noise from chain. If you are worried about the chain, inspect it for tight spots, make sure it is clean, lubricated, and has the proper slack...0 and your sprockets are also shaped properly. Doubt the chain is the issue though... More info on bike, mileage, overall...

    Front fender

Ebay has several. You may need to paint them to match your bike though. :) Good luck! You can always check BikeBandit for it also.

    Where is everyone?

True. Some of the images from those threads are no longer available as well, which can make it frustrating when reading how someone fixed something. Many 'farkle' parts links are gone, and the parts are no longer available. The Internet just moves on... ;)

Unable to fit 2 wrenches on chain tension nuts?

That is how mine looks.. Adding another or a thicker washer will hurt nothing, but will require loosening up everything and readjusting the chain, but if if makes future adjustments easier, it is a workable solution as well. :)

Unable to fit 2 wrenches on chain tension nuts?

You need a slimmer wrench for the adjuster nut... or try holding it still with needle nose pliers while you tighten the lock nut (First choice is better, but second will work if you need to just get going)...

    Where is everyone?

It is odd, as the KLR650 groups still go strong, and I can barely keep up with all of the FZ07 / MT07 group posts. The aftermarket parts for these bikes seems to have... dropped appreciably, but there are still lots around being ridden. They still require maintenance, repair, and some farkle...
