    Lmao duh!

Yes, I was kind of thinking age is not that big of a factor in a motorcycle CRASH. IT hurt when I was young and I imagine it will hurt at 60. :D OH well, it was a good way to get the day started with a good laugh.

    Lmao duh!

I am watching local news this morning and the ticker at the bottom of the screen has this item. "Motorcycle riders over the age of 60 are more likely to get hurt in a crash than younger riders." WOW,,,I thought that would be a given. I laughed until my waffles came out my nose. I wonder how...

    Helmet Choices

I love my Quest. I also have the TZR and it is not as well vented or as quiet. The Quest is also a very stable lid. The TZR and others I have had bob your head from side to side. Quest=solid!

Open faced helmets... Not so good

Looks exactly like my co-worker that broadsided a jeep a few years ago on his Goldwing. His open face helmet offered him the same level of non-protection against a face down landing on pavement.

    FZ6R for a newbie

Welcome dbk, Be sure to try our search feature here as almost every question you might have has probably been discussed. Feel free to ask questions. The Fz6r is a great little bike for starting out. I would usually recommend a 250cc size for beginners but as long as a person respects the...

    My daughter's first rifle

Very cool Jay. It reminds me of the days when a person could mention guns in a conversation and others won't give you a dirty look.

    Effects of changing sprockets

The speedo will be very close to accurate. With a plus 1 front you will have a LOWER cruising rpm. Gas mileage might increase a little. Most of all you will hardly notice any difference at all unless you run at the track. The low end power loss is hardly noticeable by the average rider. That's...

    No politics

Yes, it's no good. I can't even discuss politics with myself without getting in an argument and punching myself in the face.

    No politics

I missed the spiral Don. Now I see what went on. My two pounds grew back. Martin, we all are raped when it comes to taxes. Not being too far from retirement and working full time since 17, sometimes two jobs, I look back and say,"where in the hell is all my money."

    No politics

Ouch! I feel about two pounds lighter in the rear end.

    Pissed me off

There is always some smart ass out there that has to berate someone to feel bigger. Do your own thing and to hell with em! It doesn't seem to matter what bike you ride, some smart ass always has a comment. If I'm in a generous mood I just smile and walk away,if not I just say "go f#@k yourself".

    Foreign Police bikes

Pretty impressive looking fleet John. I haven't seen that many cops since my arrest in 1973.
