haha this is my thought. just rock a ninja250 or something like that. they get awesome gas mileage, and you have the ability to go places (e.g. highways) where mopeds are illegal. i hate seeing mopeds on the shoulders of the busy streets where i travel to work (3-4 lanes, 45-60mph)

if you're gonna spend that much coin, do yourself the favor of trying them on before you buy them. ideally, find some friends who own them, try them on and even ride around with em. i found out for shoei i need a small (at least for the RF1100) even though in some other brands a medium fit me...

i think lane splitting to get to the front of a traffic light when it's red, or in bumper-to-bumper traffic would be reasonably safe (especially the former). i dont know that i'd trust other motorists enough to do it at speed.

great bikes, guys! i'm looking to get a track bike and keep the 6R for the street (probably move up to an FZ1 actually, for the extra torque). don't know how soon...or not soon, this will happen. it's winter anyway so not like i could ride :( for 99% of riding the 6R is perfect. i did...

i feel like some of those guys could have the bike much more upright and complete the turn better. but i'm not a pro-racer so i can't say for sure :P

my buddy said the mold release compound is no longer an issue. i asked him because we put on a brand new set of tires before doing a track day. edit: keep in mind, you do want your tires warm before pushing them!

agreed. though i mean, 0-60 in ~4s isn't slow by any means. i love WOT on the 6R, but god i can't imagine being on an R6 or R1...those things must just take off :eek::eek::eek:

i don't pass on double yellows. hell, i've passed once or twice at most on dotted lines. i don't feel comfortable going into the opposite lane PERIOD. i'd much rather be patient than be A patient.

i used Q2's for my last track day...they worked great! no experience with the 2CT's...and to be honest, i'd probably have to ride them back-to-back to give a decent opinion.

my limits are somewhere around 40F..it just gets too damn cold :D

sadly, because it has "4 wheels", it would be considered a car for road purposes and must have all the safety features that go along with that. the USDOT would not consider it a motorcycle. so we will never see it on the roads :( but a great design :D
