I don't have collision coverage. I would have if it's not so expensive for me ($300+ for 1k deductible). Just not worth it on a bike that is probably worth 4k now.
Is this your first bike? If it is, you will drop it again. Even if this is not your 1st bike, chances are you will drop it again. The picture doesn't even look bad at all. I dropped my first bike twice within a month. Have less than 1000 miles on this one. I WILL drop it one day. It's...
No idea what model that is. Looks pretty old to me. Revzilla is having a black friday/cyber monday deal currently. It's 15% off most Dainese product. $300 is not cheap. You can get new for $425 like this.

Bought a silver one from the2wheels.com. I guess it's the 2014 7 clicks version. I didn't install yet but found the quality incredible for $40. Hope it works as well as it looks.
4x is crazy, try a few more company. I wouldn't get full cover if it's that much. The bike is cheap. If you can afford to replace it, then just get liability. If the FZ6R is what you really want, then get it. If you get the Ninja300, you will probably want to upgrade within the 1st yr.
I thought about taking it to the dealership for the 1st service. I took my last bike to the dealership for 1st service. They were suppose to check everything and do an oil change. It took them 1 hour and 15mins and I was charged $210. I doubt they "carefully" check anything. They probably...
It's lighter and more powerful than the Ninja 300. I don't see how it can't outrun it too. Only thing is it would not come out till next year. Op, get a used Ninja250r, 300r, Cbr250r to get your training. When you sell them or trade them in after a year, you will not lose much $$$. Almost...
I would get the Ninja 300. Not because it's a better bike but because it will be an easily bike for you to learn on. The extra 100lbs of the bigger bike are a handful for beginner. If you are a tall and strong guy then you can probably start on a FZ or 650.
UPDATE!
I did the oil change today. If this is your first service, make sure you got a tool/plan to take out the oil filter. It's screwed in HARD from the factory. There was not much room to work with either. I was going to drill and hole and use a screwdriver like some people here...
Thanks!! I have a good torque wrench. I also have a Pitbull rear stand from my last bike. Can you show me which triple tree stand is compatible or any triple tree stand will do?
I am not worrying about warranty issue. Most bike has only 1 year warranty. I am in NY, the riding season is...
