Well, I wouldn't be happy about it, but I wouldn't freak out either.
I would fill it again, and check the oil more often. When you filled it up to the line after changing it, did you check it after a good run? Sometimes it takes a while for the oil to actually settle in to the filter and you...
Sorry to hear about her misfortune. Anybody could fall at the right stop sign with a high crown, gravel, sand. Explain that to her. it's not the end of the world. If she can't flat foot it, I personally would consider lowering the suspension on it. I think I will eventually do that for my wife...
I do 3&4 simultaneously. Under normal conditions, I don't exaggerate the blip. I personally don't like to dilly-dally holding the clutch in an exaggeratedly prolonged shift. Quick and clean is the goal for me. I don't power-shift (old dirt bike term we used to use for shifting sanz-clutch)...

FYI I was tinkering with the gears in my garage, and with a stationary bike I could not get it into 3rd (no preloading), rock the bike slightly forward...

Looks like it is in tolerance (10-15mm), but not exactly sure if I am measuring it correctly. The clutch action feels OK.
I have not had any problems going into 1st or 2nd, but clicking into 3rd or 4th under moderate to hard acceleration is when I encounter the issue.
I do know how to shift a...
Related but different issue
Hi I am new to the forum, and I have a new (to me) FZ6r.
I found this thread in a search on shifting issues.
I also have trouble getting my foot under the gear for up-shifts, but I am more concerned about some times the bike not wanting to go into the next gear...
