I've got a good one for ya. My wife suprised me with a brand new Raven FZ6R, an early fathers day present. I ride it one day (60 miles). The following week I break my leg at work (I'm a lineman). Now I can only stare at it in my garage for the next three months.

I removed the FZ6R stickers on my bike with a blow dryer and cleaned up the left over gunk with some maguires wax. Totally cleaned up the look of the bike IMO. Heat them up and they come off pretty easy. So far it's the cheapest mod I know of LOL.

This is the very reason I'm on this forum at all. Where else can you see so many mods and hear so many different views without spending a penny? Awesome. Thanks for the killer info.

I bought my FZ6R at factory motor sports in Oregon City, OR. There's a guy that works there named Ernie. He sold a 6R to a lady who had the rims powder coated pink to match the trim on her bike. He said she was totally happy with the new look. That might be a possibility.

I was thinking about getting a stand. What's the benefit? is it a better way to store the bike or is it just for doing maintenance?
