I've seen this fork stand on sale at Cycle Gear for $30:
TRACKSIDE - Front Stand - Front Stands - Stands - Accessories - CycleGear - Cycle Gear
Fork stands are not as flexible as tree stands. Makes it impossible to work on the forks and gets in the way if you want to work on the brakes.
Front wheel triple tree stand
I never got the answer... until nismos14 responded above. So thanks for asking!
I bought this CHN from Amazon:
Amazon.com: CHN FW-1 Front Wheel Stand: Automotive
It comes with 5 pins: 13, 15, 16.5, 17, 18. The 18 is a little small, so

You've done more with your bike in a week than I have in 8 months... except riding! :Sport:
I usually stop in neutral, and have no problems getting it back into 1st. Did you try rolling the bike forward or backwards a little when it's stuck?
Was curious... Would it be bad to flip the wheel around to get the existing tire rolling in the right direction? My BT021 are due for replacement, so I'll replace the tire. But if someone in a similar situation with tires that still had good tread, would reversing the tire orientation cause...
Yep, wheel is on backwards.
Took another look and found a small arrow on one of the spokes. Wheel is on backwards, so the spoke is catching air as it rolls.
I was planning to take off my front wheel for a new tire. So I took a closer look at the wheel to find an easy way to tell which way it's supposed to go back on. I noticed the cross section for the spokes are U shaped, with the open end on the top spoke facing forward. See pic. The rear...
Ditto that. When I first started riding, I was all brakes and often ended up in the wrong gear, especially on turns. Now I down shift with my speed, and engine brake if slowing gradually. Good tip from MSF class is to slow a bit more than needed on turns, and roll on the throttle as you exit.
Top heavy
Only complaint is the bike feels top heavy, making low speed maneuvers a bit tricky.
Occasionally refuses to shift up to 3rd gear, but suspect it's beause I'm not dropping my toe enough after the previous shift. Still getting used to riding boots.
Otherwise, the bike is a blast!
Good to have choices
I like what Honda is doing. When I was shopping last summer, options were limited for sporty bikes. Seems like all the manufacturers abandoned the middle weight market (ie Ninja EX 500, GS500). Didnt want a 250 that was too small, or 600 supersport that wasnt commute...
