Pulled the trigger on my second bike :)

SO I finally did it. Today I became the owner of a new 2013 Kawasaki ZX6R. Came upon a deal too good to pass up. Picking the bike up tomorrow once State Farm faxes over whatever it is they need to fax over to the dealership. More pics to come tomorrow, but here's a pic I took of the bike before pulling the trigger. I'll be keeping my FZ6R for the time being as my long distance bike though. No real plans to sell it anytime soon. Can't wait to ride my new bike tomorrow! :)

Very sweet dude! Congrats!!

On a side note I think I've finally decided on which mirrors to replace my bunny ears with.

Keep up the good work.
Keep the power under control.

The bike makes sense to me for a supersport, slightly more comfort, more mid-range, still revs.

that is one pretty bike congrats. Looks like a ball smasher though :)
be safe.

Echo what mirrors did you decide on? I have been through three sets and haven't found anything I liked that had close to the same vis as stock.

Its probably going to be the ZX6R mirrors, those things look pretty sweet, as far as visibility goes, I always turn my head and check anyways, so I just need something to peak into every now and again that looks good.

I have the ZX-6r mirrors(You can see them on my profile pic) Definitely a step up in terms of aesthetics. As for the view, not as good but you should always do a headcheck anyway.

Thanks ill have to check them out. if I was going to lose vis though id probably put back the turn signal mirrors, they looked the best just could not see crapola behind you. the GSXR offered a little better vis but my hand was right in the middle of the mirror so I abandoned those too.

DO you still have the gsxr mirrors? Thinking about a project with them but don't want to use my OEM's, want to sell them? Maybe we can come to terms if you do.
yeah for pretty much enough to buy some packing and shipping. but they are ebay knock offs and one of them giggles a tiny bit on the post. I loved the way they look, picture attached, and the turn signals were bulb and big so I like them but again I live in a traffic area and need the vis. Seems the only way to make these mirrors not look like bunny ears is to shorten the stems, and shortening the stems cuts off a lot of vis.

Hit a gigantic pothole tonight. Front and back rims bent. Not exactly the pictures of my new bike I wanted to post. :-/

Anyone know what kind of options I have here? Repair the rims? Have a shop bend them back or should I just replace them? Will factory warranty cover the rims? Or will I need to go through my insurance to get them fixed/replaced? F$%kin hate philly streets. Large lumpy bumps and potholes EVERYWHERE.
