Woodcraft Clip Ons

So I installed the clip ons and love the bike all over again!

Few pointers:
1. Took me longer than I thought it would take
2. Getting both forks equal was a pain in the butt and ended up having one side lower than 1.5in so I had to drop the other side to match but no big deal
3. I HAD to drill the anti-rotation holes in the clip-ons because the controls would not stay put no matter how tight I got them, once drilled the controls are rock solid.
4. The clip ons lack true bar ends so there is now a noticeable amount of vibration felt in my hands but not enough to ruin a ride thus far, problem can be fixed but I havn't gotten around too it... too busy riding :D

Having ridden a week or so, I love the feel of the bike now. It corners easier and looks great.

here is link to where I purchased my set. size 41mm. black.

here is a thought...if you bought 3in or 3.5in riser clipons you might be able to get them under the tree

Sweet, you have any more pics of the bike from the side? I have a set of clipons coming, going to get it done next week. My bike is also white, I'd like to get a preview.

Pics as promised, and thanks for pointing out the non aggressive look! I went ahead and fine tuned the bars. Had to adjust the throttle free play and clutch free play a bit.

enjoy :)

What do the ends look like? Are they drillable to be able to put bar ends on? The lack of bar ends on all these clip ons looks weird to me...

The ends are just rubber caps. They are ready for any aftermarket bar end.

Man, the clip-ons look great with the black and white contrast. Your decal on the lower fairings is a nice touch. Awesome job. Thanks for the pics!

I got them from the local Motorcycle Junkyard i took a stab in the dark to find out of they would work and they do, I talked to a powder coating place and they are going to charge me 15 bucks on thursday to get them done and make they look new putting me at a total cost of about 65 dollars vs. paying over 100. I was really looking to save some cash and thats why i did it this way. After the powder coating i will put them on correctly and set them good just half assed them since i new that i was going to be taking them off tomorrow. Taking advantage cause its my day that day and they are closed today due to the holiday.

Looks great! I've had mine since February and the black coating has faded to a copper color. Perhaps it's the heat that caused it I'm not sure. If yours fades to copper it may look good with your gold wheels and bar ends.
