Hi all, a month ago on the road near my house I had a nasty accident. I was lane splitting on a straight road with no turns and a taxi made an illegal U turn and had no time to brake. I'm healing fast thank God I always wear my gear and it was just broken bones.
Right arm
Left wrist
Left hip
Right rib

Hi guys definitely God was with me that day, I remember everything from the crash it was just a few seconds and BAM! I went over the car and hit the windshield with my helmet. Just wish I had more lights in front of the bike maybe with a small led strip the taxi would have seen me.

Word of advice make your bike and gear as visible as possible and alway wear your gear.

Glad you're doing ok considering. Don't second doubt what happened... Nowadays people pay so little attention driving you could have had flood lights all over the bike and he still may not have seen you

Wow. Hoping you mend quickly. Fortunately it wasn't worse, no doubt a result of being committed to atgatt.

We're taught in msf to see (search, evaluate, execute) and aim for good presentation (lane choice and position in lane) but there are some things that are out of our control. Your misfortune is a reminder to all of us to expect the unexpected.

It was Freddy, even the paramedic who attended me at the crash and I coinsidently saw at the hospital last week told me that when he arrived he thought I was gone already for the look of the crash. "Sir God was with you" he said.

I am glad you're okay. Hope you have a blessed recovery. I just got some Hi VIz yellow gear two weeks ago and also waiting on LED stips solely for the purpose of visibility.
Everyone is right about how it could have been much worse. I'm glad it wasn't.

Like all others have said, some things are out of your control no matter how many precautions you take. I'm surprised at that arm break, looks horrible!

Trying not to get religious, but everyone else started it You definitely had God on your side. I'm glad you're well and your spirit isn't broken. I hope the taxi company or driver takes care of all your bills, lost wages, and a nice new Ducati.
