Custom LED Flasher Relay DIY

Ok, this is super simple and this probably didn't need to be done. This is for those of us with after market turn signals that blink really fast...

Purchase this...http://www.customled.com/products/flasher_relay/flasher_relay.htm and continue. I got mine in about 2 days.

Tools needed...none, if you just remove the passenger seat. I wasn't quite sure where the relay was so I removed the front seat and tray. Tools needed for that are 10mm socket and a 3/16 allen wrench.

The stock relay is located on the right hand side if you're in front of the bike. To remove the stock relay it's just held in by a rubber loop you can just wiggle it out. See attached pictures if you have any questions. Just unplug the stock relay and plug the new one in. It's really that simple.

Awesome man, I knew it would be simple, I have just been dealing with the HID retrofit, and haven't had time to do this. This will really help people out. Glad that the link that I gave you gave you the right relay. I should have gotten the programmable relay for different flashes. Looking forward to doing it tomorrow to see how it works on mine.

I just installed the programmable relay and its pretty cool I suggest everyone to spend the extra money for it. It's definitely worth it!

Is there a kit for getting the blinkers inside your front cowling like you have them? I have never seen those before.

no kit really, but it is just preferance and fit. some of us have these.
