Cooks Corner

I went for a 2-3 hour ride today down to Cooks Corner (didn't stop by, place was SUPER busy this afternoon).

I rode up and down the Santiago Canyon Rd probably 4-5 times, passing Cooks Corner, turning around, and riding until Santiago Canyon turns into Chapman and then doing it all over again.

Lots a bikers out today. Got a ton of friendly waves.

Since I'm off work tomorrow, I'm thinking about going back out again. :)

Just got back from the ride. Way less people out there than on Sunday. I knew it would be less, but I kind of thought that it'd still be busy since some people (like myself) have Presidents' Day off from work.

Was a fun ride. :) I wish I was in a group with other riders though.

I've done Santiago canyon to Cooks. Definitely a nice, relaxing cruise. It's also fun to take El Toro down to PCH afterwards.

But, nowadays I'm so hopelessly addicted to canyons that i try not to waste too much tire on street riding or freeways if I can help it. lol.

I actually think tomorrow I'm going to take beach blvd to pch, then the 133 to El Toro rd and Santiago canyon.
