Anyone here ridden and video taped the A537?
Just heard about it on Top Gear... just checked it out, virtually... insane!
Do you mean the road known as the 'Cat and Fiddle' in the UK?
It's a nice enough road, over the top of the Pennines, but it's busy most of the day, and because of the number of riders (and drivers) who crash, there's now a blanket 50mph speed limit on it, with (IIRC) average speed cameras over part of it.

that road is quite good (until they ruined it with over-policing), but there are way, way better roads in other parts of Europe and NA.

We have lots of great roads.
Choose your style of riding and the have a look on the maps.
Some days i like a blast on fast roads, other days bendy mountain passes.
We spent a weekend in Wales and after talking to some locals found some great back roads.
Love Moorland routes too.
However, i will keep the location of my special roads to myself incase the idiots spoil it for the rest of us.

this is so true... it's why "the dragon" here is overrated, so many other roads with less traffic that are just as good.
Sadly, when I was in England, I was not a rider, but I did enjoy traveling all over in my little Fiat Strada.
