    Wideband A/F meter?

Thanks for the info Marthy. Knowing now how big of a change just 7 makes had me convinced of the same. I had a rare short day at work today because I had to go get the summer tires back on my car so I zeroed out that 23 and then the 21 and 41 (41 is a ridiculous jump in fuel Id say!) values in...

    Wideband A/F meter?

On the power commander, I wonder if I can load the Hindle map into 2 slots so I can modify one while keeping the other as it is. This map works awesome from 5krpm to redline for my bike.

    Wideband A/F meter?

Mine is a bit of a lurch but looking at the Hindle map, it has one weird spot at 2500rpm that they gave 23 fuel. That might be what im feeling, I’ll have to try a different map or change that value to 0. My bike came to me with an exhaust and power commander fotted so I never got to feel it...

    Wideband A/F meter?

Im not even looking for more power. Im trying to get rid of the hesitation that my bike has always had below 4-5k rpm. Past 5k the throttle response is fine. Does yours do that? I’ve tried dofferent air filters, power commander settings, exhausts with baffle and without. New spark plugs…...

    Wideband A/F meter?

I really wish there was a decent ecu flash available for this bike or I loved near a reputable place that could do one. it would be a million times better than a power commander imo.

    Wideband A/F meter?

The koso wideband I was looking at runs on a small battery and if you want a backlight you can connect it to keyed 12v source so it shouldnt drain too much power at all. Not sure about yours though. I’ve put the idea aside for now since I tend to dove way too deep when I get into things like...

How many miles on your bike?

8,800 miles on mine and I am now debating the digi sync since it looks so easy to do. Pretty pricey though for the few times Id use it but looks much more accurate than the old method.

Need Help I lose the ability to go above 8k rpm once the bike is warm

You mean the bike will rev to redline but you don't pick up speed? If that's the case then most likely a slipping clutch. If your bike just won't rev past 8k then I'm not sure what that could be. Maybe some sensor that acts up when it gets hot? Sparkplugs? Fueling issue?

    Wideband A/F meter?

Hey Marthy, thanks! When you advanced your timing did it lean out your a/f at all? I have a sneaking suspicion that my bike is a bit too lean now but no proof of that. It goes like a raped ape in the high rpms and runs fine but mostly the sound on start up just sounds lean to me. Kind of...

    Wideband A/F meter?

Does anyone have any experience with a wideband A/F gauge on their motorcycle? Will it just plug into the o2 sensor bing on my Hindle exhaust? I am contemplating one because (obviously) there are no ecu flashes for the Fz6r and no Dyno shops even close to me that can Dyno and tune my bike with...

    Timing change....Do it!

I installed the timing rotor and I’m not sure I notice too much of a change but I’m sure it helped some. Bike runs beautifully though and the sluggishness below 4k rpm is barely noticeable now if at all. That said, I made a lot of changes over the winter so it could be one or all of them that...

Here is a photo of how it looks on the bike.

Delkivic full exhaust w/14” carbon muffler

This exhaust worked fine and sounded good but I just wanted a more “premium” exhaust so I switched to a Hindle. Nothing wrong with it though you’ll have to clean off the high temp silicone before fitting🙂. I also have the extra quiet baffle but its pretty quiet with the normal baffle and has a...

    Woodcraft Clip Ons

Woodcraft makes a universal adapter plate that bolts to the stock handlebar mounts and allows the use of their clip on bars. A little pricier but cleaner install IMO. Pulling the forks up through the triples 1.5” changes the geometry A LOT, even 5mm makes a big difference in handling...

    Timing change....Do it!

Oh thats right you havw the R6 rearsets. I was going to say I have my Delkevic carbon that I took off but it attaches to the rear footpeg bracket which you dont have lol. The Leo Vince does look very nice though for sure and they make a great exhaust from everything I hear.

    Timing change....Do it!

Have you decided on a new exhaust yet Hcu?

Even spicier with the Hindle exhaust! 🙂

    MAP Question (WITH PICS!)

I think you will be fine. It would be apparent if the bike wasnt liking the tune.🙂
