That looks AWESOME! I would do that to mine in a heartbeat (except I would need to have the tank resprayed).

I bet it would really look good with the wheels, too.

No need to respray your tank if you have decals on it - just get the new color overlaid on the pink.

I have to say - white wheels on a white FZ6r would look amazing, especially if you changed the pink to blue (or any other colour for that matter)!
