I never get nervous about my helmet. It's either on my head, in my garage, or under my desk at work. I don't leave it anywhere. People will steal your sh*t, crime of opportunity.do u fellow riders ever get nervous when leaving ur helmet out in a parking lot?
When I do it has a cable lock through it, attached to my Xena disk lock/alarm. Not foolproof, but eliminates the crime of opportunity types.do u fellow riders ever get nervous when leaving ur helmet out in a parking lot?
I occasionally leave it hanging on the mirror if I'm in the immediate area, like stopping for a bite on a weekend ride when I'm never more than 20 feet away.

Don't leave mine if I can't see it. Had a buddy get a soda dumped in his while it was locked to his bike.

+1, my disk lock came with a 4' cable, I usually bring everything with me.But I can run the cable through my jackets sleeve, two helmets, my saddle bags, whatever needs itI leave it on the bike occasionally with a thick bike combination lock

yup about what I do. I like that it automatically winds up like a water hose in storage. but will wrap around the handbars and two helmets two jackets ect

I like the locks alot, you can set your own combination with the cable.

But trust me, if you're riding a motorcycle, you're already cool. I remember a friend of mine in high school showed up to a formal event on the back of her dad's Harley - I was like WHOOOOOAAAAA, your dad is soooo cool!!! And while I always thought she was good looking in a "I roll out of bed in the morning and look good" kinda way - not flashy or showy at all, she got a whole lot better looking climbing off the bike and pulling her helmet off...
