Our friend Tyler at SoloMotoParts.com - Motorcycle Parts, Accessories and Gear has accepted to put a sprocket & chain group buy deal together for FZ6R-Forum members.

Here's how it goes.

We need at least 10 people to jump in the ship to get the deal. The rear sprocket is a Driven Steel Evo2 (light steel in black) and the front sprocket is what most of us has been getting. The rear has a choice of 46T or 47T (+1) and the front has 15T,16T and 17T if I'm right. You are more than welcome to visit there website and look at what you are ordering. The sprocket combo are all the same brand but you can choose your ratio. The update will be on the chain. There's three different quality for different budget.

Here's the choice we have:

Combo #1
Driven Steel Front and Driven Steel Evo 2 Rear with Natural EK SRX Chain - $140

Combo #2
Driven Steel Front and Driven Steel Evo 2 Rear with Natural EK MVXZ Chain - $165

Combo #3
Driven Steel Front and Driven Steel Evo 2 Rear with Gold or Colored EK MVXZ Chain - $180

All kit include a rivet link.

Those price are for the kit if we can put 10 person together. You should change everything at the same time anyway.

I think I MIGHT be interested in this, but I wont know financially until either 4/26 or 5/10 check dates.

Did he give a time period for this buy?

Hey Guys!

Tyler checking in here from Solo. So yea, to cap on what Marthy said we can do those 3 combos above with your choice of sprocket teeth. They will all come with a master link as well. I personally have the first combo on my FZ6R, it went on about 6 months ago when I bought it and is working perfectly still!

Let's get a list started on here on who would like one. I can provide a link to the website so you can checkout on there with the options and combo you would like, and that will be that! Lets keep it open until the end of this month, and then go from there to see how much interest we have. It has to be over 10 kits though.

What's the deal on this? Is the talk over in the exhaust group buy that changed to chain sprocket talk about this also?

Natural is like our stock chain kind of silver steel color right? Are the rollers on this chain silver or black? (Interested in cleaning purposes I like that color to see how clean it is. )

For chain/front&rear sprocket I am in now. Wife said will help me if still tight now that finally waiting on first full check in like 3-4 months. :eek:

I will do #2 or #3 just color and+1 front or stock and stock rear undecided yet.

Is blue a color option on the chain?

Hopefully can get the 10. Otherwise i will just get the DID vxs2 I think it is.

Come on guys... you ask for it. Few people down the food chain got involve here to make this happen.

All the info on parts are available on there website, no point to copy & paste the whole thing here. There's few chain color available and only the side plates on the links are colored. Not all colors comes with the chain link colored too. But since you have to cut 1 or 2 links... I always manage to be very careful and saving one of the plate and use it with the rivet link. I know black chain comes with a black link... the red wasn't... might have change.

OK, let'as get the group together... gotta have 10 person that need a chain and sprocket combo within the few few months?

If Gold or Blue is still an option for instock or whatever when ordering I will go for one of them.

Otherwise I guess I will drop to option #2 for the natural.

Might do the sprockets and chain in the offseason. Can't do any expensive mods right now. :(

I like the sound of that too hell the bottom of my bikes blacked out anyway. Red would be too much

I think black would look pretty nice.. My thing though is I REALLY like the gold/natural or Blue because I think, well they look nice! :)
I also kinda lean towards that the black might be harder to clean because you cant really see if you got all the junk off the chain (atleast on the outside of it). :) Where the other colors the black grease/wax/dirt would seem to stand out more.

I'm really keen, but I'm in Australia. Happy to pay extra postage direct to the supplier or transfer money to someone from here who could post it to me?
