Southern IL, Southern IN, West KY

I moved recently from south eastern Indiana to south central Kentucky...I have driven all the way to Chicago for ride though....Just looking to see if there are any fellow riders in the area. I am from Carmi, Illinois (about 40~ miles west of Evansville, IN) and I would like to arrange a ride or something if anybody else is around!
Man that's pretty far! I have only been riding for one season and so far the farthest I've gone was to Bloomington and back, about a day's ride. I would love to go somewhere with some better roads than here though. The only good road around Carmi is the blacktop between Brownsville and Herald, but I lost a friend on it in high school and it scares the S*** out of me. If you're ever coming to the area or if I go to Kentucky we should ride!

there seems to be a ton of roads down in shawnee national forest area...
