Reviving BOTM, thoughts on rules??

Hi all, Admin has given the thumbs up to bring back BOTM :zombie:
I've tried to searched for "rules" regarding bike of the month but haven't found any,
from the FZ1 site we have:

One picture of a motorcycle owned by the member can be entered each month. If you win you must sit out the following two month's contests before entering again. Does not have to be an FZ1, but must be your bike
and from our FZ6 site, these are the rules there:

1. This is a family friendly forum, keep it tasteful.
2. Must be an active member for at least 3 months, at least 50 posts OR premium or elite members or supporting.
3. It does not have to be an FZ6, but it does have to be your bike to qualify
4. One picture per member can be entered every month, unless you won the previous month. You must wait 2 months before entering again after winning.

Opinions or suggestions??????

Just my thoughts:

1. Needs to be currently owned.

2. Needs to be an FZ6R.

3. If the picture wins, that's it for the year for that owner.

4. If the picture didn't win, enter as many months as you wish.

5. One picture per month.

6. Family friendly. No scantily clad people. It's about the bike.

7. Photo resolution has be at least "X". (Suitable for print, check with the admins on that one.)

8. If you enter, you have to vote. That vote has to be for someone else's bike.

9. All winners grant the owner's of this site the right to use their photo as the owner's deem appropriate. No content changes will be made to said photo.

Rules two, three, seven and nine are intended for a possible calendar. If that's not in the works, they can be dropped.

Hmmm. Possible rule number ten:

10. No photo manipulation other than that which effects saturation or contrast.

That will keep the 'Shoppers from putting their bike where it wasn't, but will allow for tweaks to color and light for the cell phone users.

Rule 11. Photo must show atleast 75% of said bike & be easily recognisable as said bike:p

Robert's (99vengeur) been keeping up with it, but he used the site announcements section so it would pop up, I'll move them here so we have some history.

you can see the rules we sort of came to agreement on last year :

"
Rules are:

1. No photoshopping!!!! Picture must be as taken, this is a bike competition not a photoshop competition.
2. Must be a new photo (in other words, no repeats).
3. It must be your bike to qualify, no prejudice against other makes and models. All bikes are welcome. Only one picture per member.
4. Uploading pictures will take place the first three weeks of the month, voting will be on the last week of the month, at the end of the third week the contest entries will end and voting will be enabled.
5. The winner will be announced the last day of the month.
6. One picture per member can be entered every month (unless you won the previous month). You must wait 2 months before entering after winning."

i dont think anyone has been keeping up with it since about June. I like all these rules LOL. Mostly no photoshop. Im kinda torn on whether it should be a FZ6R or not. I like the rule about having to actually see the bike but that may rule out JT LOL. He submitted a picture of his tire last time (and somehow won)
