Hi guys, I'm going to change the oil and replace the drain bolt and washer.
The washer it has some kind of step in one side, and the other side is flat. (photos). What side of the washer is facing the cranckcase cover?

Thanks a lot!

I'd guess the flat side to the crankcase. The washers designed to crush when tightened to seal well and work like a spring washer.

I've read that you need to be very careful not to over torque or you could end up cracking the case where that bolt threads back on. Use a torque wrench man.

Thanks for your responses, and actually I use a torque wrench (31 ft-lb in the oil drain bolt)

Thanks a lot!
