May 1st Michigan Ride

So since the weather has FINALLY broke here in Michigan, I decided to get a few guys together to go on a nice ride around southeast Michigan. Myself, and Rob (mcnam1rj) met up, as well as a few buddies of mine to ride out. We rode to belle isle, then took the scenic route up to harsens island (including a ferry ride to the island) to hit some twisties. Overall the day went great, weather was perfect, just had one mishap of a buddy high siding into a ditch (letoff the throttle in a turn), but he walked away and the bike was ok to ride home. Anyways, heres some pics.

it was a pretty epic day for me: first time riding with other bikes and first time hittin' up some twisties. i did take it easy on the twisties but man oh man did it open up my eyes to how much fun they are! made me fall in love with my bike all over again. great group of guys too, all of us were geared up head to toe. so if there are any other riders in the area hit us up for the next ride. the more the merrier.
