Heys guys just got a new 2013 FZ6R and im looking for some fellow forumers to ride with. I know it not really riding season anymore but since I just got my bike if its dry an above 40° I ride. Im located near the Glenburine area. If anyone wants to exchange facebook addresses to keep in touch if weather looks good im down for that as well. Thanks guys keep the rubber down an paint up!!! :):D

I live in Gaithersburg. We have quite a few people in our immediate area (and believe it or not most of our group is FZ6Rs) and a bunch of people a little ways out. We usually communicate the bigger group rides through the Gaithersburg Riders facebook group, but when the weather is nice we're usually out at least twice a month.

I know most of the regulars commute on our bikes so we aren't quite as itchy to do groups rider as we were when we were green, but still love the group stuff. With that said, starting to plan a sleep-over trip to Skyline Drive in the spring.......

Drop me a PM and I'll give you my phone number and email. I do some wrenching and usually know when good MD stuff is happening.

Hey man, I'm from the Frederick area, and work in Gaithersburg. I also agree with MistahT, just look up "Gaithersburg Riders" on FB and join the group. I've met some cool folks through there, and it's a fairly active group, so far!

I got a ride in this weekend, but with all the rain, snow, freezing temps, long trips to out of town with family to see more family, etc, I think I'm gonna winterize for the rest of December and probably January. I'm going to install some heated grips, save for some new (much needed) tires, and try again in February (let's be honest, March).

BUT if any of you are going out on a nice-ish day, PLEASE let me know. I'll dust off the cobwebs and join in!

Thanks MistaT. I joined the fb page. Its lookin fairly decent this weekend upper 40s to low 50's. Think im going to do sum riding tomorrow an sunday. Im in glenburine md area if anyone wants to join
