I am trying to lube my throttle cables. After removing the two screws underneath the throttle cable box (where cut off switch is also located), I am not able to open the plastic box.
Anyone know how to disassemble that box, so that I can detach the throttle cables?
I think there are 3 or 4 screws total.
Also, once you take all the screws out, do use too much force to pry them out because there is a small plastic piece with a nipple that sits inside. When i was changing my grips i tried to use a screw driver wedged in between the throttle and grip and winded up breaking the small nipple piece of. it's basically to hold the top and bottom halves perfectly together. i did rigged it back up using some plastic glue that hardened up.
