How many links do our xhans have

G'day y'all.

I have a 2010 yamaha XJ6N (Aussie model), I want to bump up the final drive ratio to (3.20), but for ease instead of going from 16-46 to 15-48, i want to just change the rear from 46 to 51. My main concern is - will my stock chain still fit?

I know it's a 520 chain. But how long is it (I've read 118 links) Will it be long enough?

I had to go up to 119 links when I did the group buy and that was a 17/47 combo (wanted to only go up one in the front but there was a back order on the 46 rear).

To be on the safe side, just order more links.

Thanks mate, iv since educated myself. For 119 links i can use 15/48 and get the same ratio as i stated above (3.20) and not need a crazy long chain because of a monster rear sprocket.
