high beam stuck on and will only start in neutral

My 2012 FZ6R recently got these two symptoms, not sure if they are related.
The head light are stuck on high beam, and the bike will mo longer start unless it is in neutral. Any advice is appreciated. The diagnostic mode didn't report any errors.

But once started it remains running when placed in gear?
That implies the circuit for the starter safety cut-out relay is not getting all the info. Clutch, Neutral S switch, side stand.

If you have a center stand, use it.
In gear, side stand up, press start button.
Repeat above with clutch pulled in? Any change?
It seems like you clutch switch is bad so couple that with the lighting issue and maybe the left switch harness is pinched near the steering or lower triple at the entry into the frame?
Id start by inspecting wires leaving left grip. Cut zip ties and move them about. If while moving you make it work or blow fuses, you found the problem area.

How many miles on this bike?
