Looks like an excellent all rounder bike aimed at less experienced riders than the FZ6.

I read the paper and the review is a bit contradictory. On the one hand it says that the power is more accessible and on the other it says you need to rev it.

Yeah, I see what you are saying. I think they mean it is more accessible than the FZ6, yet you still need to rev it compared to say the GSX650F which they love. I like MCN - I wish we had an equivalent publication in the US. I don't think it is available here.

Quote is in the sidebar interview. This is no surprise, the current FZ/Fazer has been around a few years.

The new FZ6R looks really great and very good build quality too. Saw it in the showroom yesterday. If I were a FZ6 noob I would have bought the FZ6R until I discovered the downgraded components except the upgraded looks, tail and headlight.
