Fixed: FZ6R Hesitation on Quick Throttle Open/Close
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum!
I purchased my first bike in May of this year, it's a 2013 FZ6R in White with Red frame.
Currently has around 18000km.
Mods are TB Carbon Exhaust, PowerCommander V, K&N Air Filter, "Airbox Mod", FZ1 Handlebars.
The bike runs fantastic, starts well, shifts well, etc... Only issue I'm noticing is that once in a while, when I quickly give gas/let go of the gas, the bike kind of hesitates. It bogs down/chokes. This happens cold or hot, even at 100 degrees Celsius running temps.
The maps I have tried on the PCV are Marthy's Sport RevA (currently using), Marthy's AdvGear RevB as well as the stock TB Exhaust map.
All give the same result. Is this normal on the bike? My friends all have bikes (sport touring and supersports); none do this.
It's most noticeable when downshifting, when I try to rev-match it'll sometimes choke.
The bike doesn't hesitate/choke when accelerating normally.
Never stalls, just kinda doesn't rev up...
(Note: Did the same thing with stock air intake)
Any ideas?
Thanks!
