I am thinking of putting a 08 r6s swingarm onto my 09 fz6r. Strictly for looks as this is what bugs me most, although a stiffer arm would help cornering performance. The needed add. length would be made up with an aftermarket extender,(0-4 inches). Anybody with constructive input for ideas appreciated.

Does the FZ6R use a linkage system or is it linear like the FZ6? If it is like the FZ6 you have some major customization in front of you. You'll need to make and weld up brackets for the linkage, they connect to the bottom of the motor, then you may need to reposition the up bolt point. Do to a dealer and check out an R6 and you'll see what I mean.
I would probably cheaper and easier to have lower bracing welded onto your existing swing arm. Need to find a good machinist/TIG welder.
