Hello all.
I changed Front Brake Caliper from genuine 2piston to the other genuine 4piston.
Both Calipers are producted by Akebono Brake Industry Co., Ltd.

Genuine 4piston caliper is used for old Yamaha models (R1-Z, FZR250R), and unfortunately this caliper is already discontinued.
I bought very old one, after that, changed several parts, repainted by myself and attached by myself.

Webike sells conversion mounts as well so you can use Brembo p4 calipers. I was looking into it before but it and of pricey especially since yould need to swap the master cylinder for best results. I'm curious what year R1 as well, those look nice!

I swapped from R1-Z, It’s not YZF-R1.
R1-Z has 250cc 2-stroke parallel twin engine, and distributed 1993.
I changed Master Cylinder at same time, Nissin φ19- Radial pump type.

This 4piston caliper is already discontinued over 20years.
So, I purchased it from auction site, Rebuild and repainted by myself.
Need to buy the seal kit (luckily Yamaha still have it) and pads(available to choice from several aftermarket brands).
