Just bought a 2009 Fz6R my second day noticed back tire was a little low checked and found a brad in the rear tire. Bike has 3800 miles can something like that be repaired or do I have to replace the tire. Thanks for any help

Put a plug in it and be happy. Plugs DO work if it's not in the firewall. Put the plug half way in the tire and chop anything sticking out off with razor blade. Ride till the tire is bald.

Someone find me an instance of a plug failing and I'll quit telling people to do this. An actual instance. Not he said/she said.

not this:

it's just a different kind of nail... at 3800 miles on stock tires, you're about halfway through them. Do yourself a favor and get new tires.
If I'd had that in my tire, I'd leave it there and back over it a few times to make sure it was dead.

I don't swing that way, but I will admit he can be one handsome dude. WTF was he thinking looking like this? :vomit:
