I used a 170 because it was available as a closeout at a good price. The bike did not turn quite as crisply as with a fresh 160, but it was no worse than a 2/3 worn 160. These were Dunlops. I don't know how a Bridgestone would work.
If the good price ever came up again, I would do it again.
Found out i had somthing like a 150 on mine, because my supposed friend lied to me and screwed me out of money. With that said she wasnt very stable in corners. Stick to OEM yamaha knew what they were doing.
