190 rear tire

As promised I am posting pictures of the 190/60 rear tire on my fz6r.

YES I KNOW THE TIRE PROFILE IS WRONG, thanks for trying to correct me though:D

Also I Know my bike is dirty. Full time school Full time work and dust storms dont mix :mad:


here is how it looks from the rear. Pretty spiffy huh?



I tried to show how much clearance there is in this picture.


Once again the swingarm clearance isnt the problem. The problem is a skinny rear rim that causes the tire to not be formed properly

Look at it like this: You have a higher profile which gives you more angle on the tire and a faster tip in on cornering. :beer:
So is it really that good to have a tire that big on our bike, doesn't at some point it start to take away and change ergo's or riding and cornering?

I personaly like the 190 tire WAY more then stock. Gives that little extra rubber to lay the bike over on.

Just remember a larger rear tire takes more power to spin therefore reducing WHP. HOWEVER if you ride corners with your mirrors scraping the ground..... thats another story!
