Greeting from Canada,Mitch! Can you explain why in the begining of your post that the FZ6R is not popular in Oz. Is it because it ias restricted? Your black/Gold 6R is beautiful.
I do not get on this forum much any more but I just want to wish everyone (new members and long time members) a Happy New Year. May all you families be safe,,may all our men and woman in our Armed Forces eveywhere be safe also. Laurence (Laurie) Potter. :D
Congrats on the 2012 FZ6R,,, I must admit the white 6R with the gold wheels to me looks fantastic. When I had my 2009 6R (Yellow) this isthe exhaust I wanted for mine. I liked it because the pipe looked like a traditional exhaust that exited to the right of the swing arm rather than underneath...
LMFAO! I just about fell off my chair...epic.
I told my daughter (who is 13) that the world can not and will not end. She asked "How do you Know?" I said "See all the T.V. shows are still slated for next week,,,even the weather!":D
Good day and welcome to the 6R forum. I have not posted for quite some time being that I no longer have a bike but my heart is still here. Congrats on your purchase,,I know that you will love the bike. No snow here yet in Nova Scotia ,,but I am sure we will soon get some. Laurie
HeyJosh,, you are right I have not been on the Forum very much at all. I do not think that a bike will be on my future anytime soon my Camry which I had was recently replaced after 10 years of owership,,,the car was 20 years old after all. I would still love to have a smallish sport bike...
Just read about this Liz,,,, it could have been much worse. Please take the time to relax and heal up and make sure that your husband does everything for you. You are in my thoughts/prayers.
I feel for you CC I really do. I imagine that it really sucks when you work your ass off to do a good job and keep your employment when you eventually get shafted from the person you work for. I would be mad too,,infact mad as hell. Mad at him but more mad at myself because I let myself work...

What I did with mine was I wrapped black hockey tape (I guess masking tape would work too) around the bar end expansion assembly,,slid it into the handle bar and then turned the adjustment screw and it went tight. It was tight enough that they did not blurr or buzz but if you did hit them they...
Jon,,, I am very glad to hear that you are wearing gear. In 1982 (yes 30 years ago) I bought my 1st Sport Bike and I was the only person around here that wore leather jacket, leather pants, gloves, helmet, and a pair of Yamaha leather motocross boots. I took alot of flack from alot of people for...
I could not agree more but than 30 years ago a 4.2 Litre Ford V8 used in the 1981 Mustang had only 110 HP. Engines have come a long way in power and gas milage. Infact the engines listed above have as much H.P. as the 305 Chevy V8.
