    Exhaust and switching gears

The stock exhaust is all one piece. If you want to be able to reverse any mods you make, you are going to have to buy a complete aftermarket system. I'd just leave it stock for now and wait until you're in Germany to do any exhaust changes after you know what the laws are.

What carburetor? The FZ6R is fuel injected.

    06 headers???

The 06-09 R6S is basically the 04 R6, so the headers should work for you.

For the love of god. I need suspension upgrades!

Yes, it is. They both have the same suspension.

    Another mpg post

It's easy to calculate fuel mileage without trusting the fuel gauge. Just reset your trip meter to 0 when you refuel. Then when you fill-up the next time, divide the miles listed on your trip meter by the amount of fuel added. Then reset the trip meter and start the process again. The only...

    Changing fairings

I've had both bikes. The R6 is completely different - different frame, different fairing mounting points.

    Oem style steel brake lines?

Yes, I'm using HH-rated pads on the front (EBC, I think). For me, HH pads have too much bite to use on the rear.

    Michelin Road 5’s?

Road 5's are great. I'm running a set on my bike now. I've got about 5,000 miles on them so far and they still look almost new. They've got great grip, even in the rain.

    Oem style steel brake lines?

You can order them off Galfer's website. That how I'm running the steel-braided lines on my FZ6R. Stainless Steel Front OEM Style Brake Line Kit - Gbrakes

    Center Stand for our Bikes

That's a great price. I paid $250 for the same centerstand about 4 years ago.

    Gas tank anyone?

Shipping will most likely be more than $80. A few years ago, someone on here was interested in buying a front fender from me and shipping from Colorado to New York was going to be $73. It's the box size, not the weight, that makes shipping so expensive.

    3 week outside stirage advice

Don't worry about stands. Just make sure the tires are aired up properly. My bike sits in the garage for a few months (not on stands) in the winter and I've never had flat-spot issues. Since you don't have a battert tender, I'd suggest you take the battery out of the bike and store it inside...

    Riding all winter long?

All modern motorcycles will do fine in winter conditions. I've ridden my FZ6R in temps down to 36 degrees. The variables are tires and rider skill. I have Michelin Road 5's on my bike and they do fine all year.

    Crankcase covers paint code

I have a touch-up pen from ColorRite (www.colorrite.com) that I used on the engine cases of my 2007 R6 track bike. The FZ6R cases are the same color. The ColoRite code is: "Yamaha 5988-1 582 Matte Black 2"

    Graphics

Check out Partzilla.com. You can find the OEM graphics in the OEM Cowling 2 parts diagrams. You'll have to dig through all of the 2009 FZ6R model choices to find the correct color. I think the set you are lookng for are in Model FZ6RYY and it is called Bluish White Cocktail.

    Bags/luggage

Check out a TANK bag. They are super handy and come in a variety of sizes. I have a couple that I use all the time - a small one that attaches with suction cups and a large one that uses magnets. When I need to carry extra stuff, one of these is the bag I go to first. Since the FZ6R has a...

    FZ6R Vortex Chain Kit?

I've used DID and Vortex kits in the past and both are high quality. Just as good as OEM and a lot less expensive.
