One thing to keep in mind is that you can always have tinting put onto a clear one to get the exact level of tint you want. I believe a few on here have had it done and its relatively cheap. If you go too dark or too light you can't change your mind later...
I did mine around Christmas time and have since put about a few thousand miles on the bike (primary commuter ~600+ miles per week) and I couldn't be happier. If anyone is thinking about doing this I highly recommend going for it.
I'm interested in your thoughts on this because as far as I have seen, nearly ever single thread about putting a slip-on type exhaust has included a comment from Marthy about how your really should have some sort of fuel controller (PCV or other).
150 miles ONE WAY for me. I try to stay with family a few times during the week so it makes for about 180 mile day. Commuting 4 days a week has me at about 700-800 miles each week.
Always used spray paint on dirtbikes when in a pinch and it just so happened that the tube of grip glue was dried out when I just went to replace grips over 2k miles ago. They seem to be holding just as good as they ever did with glue.
