Track Day
On Tuesday I stripped by bike (removed mirrors, grab handles and rear fender) and took it to Queensland raceway. This was my (and my bike's) first track day. I spent the day going around the track with a hole lot of more powerful bikes. My baby performed really well. On the long...
Frustration over
Congratulations on making it past the frustrating part of buying a new bike.....Time to let it rip.... ur bike will appreciate it. You can take it to the red line without any probs at all.
There is a limiter on it that kicks in just over 12000 rpm so that will stop you over...
Thanks
Thanks nightwolf......I have just derestricted my 6r and omg it is so much better. I can see how this is how the bike is meant to be.
The hole process to about an hour and that included going to the hardware store to buy a replacement bolt that I dropped into the bike and was unable...
Just a little north
Hi, I'm in Brisbane but luv to ride the hinterland road. Haven't been further south then Springbrook/Advencetown yet. Would be keen to go a bit further south....
Day in the hills
I took my baby for a group ride with Brisbane Riders Club. Out on the road for about 5 hours with about 15 guys. She performed really well around the bends but was left behind a bit on the straights by some of the bigger bikes (Dukes, 1000's, Busa's)
I took the left side faring off so I could see how easy it is to de-restrict and then after putting it back together I took it for about a 2.5 hr ride to Mt Nebo and Mt Glorious...... Didn't push to hard today - fair bit of traffic.......Always fun in the mountains
That not quite right......Even the restricted bikes will rev out to the red line, just much slower then they would if you could open the throttle up all the way.....I have had my restricted '13 FZ6r up to 160 km/h in 4th but it took way to long to get there. It was sitting on about 11000 RPM.......
