Just got back from the ride. Way less people out there than on Sunday. I knew it would be less, but I kind of thought that it'd still be busy since some people (like myself) have Presidents' Day off from work.
Was a fun ride. :) I wish I was in a group with other riders though.
I went for a 2-3 hour ride today down to Cooks Corner (didn't stop by, place was SUPER busy this afternoon).
I rode up and down the Santiago Canyon Rd probably 4-5 times, passing Cooks Corner, turning around, and riding until Santiago Canyon turns into Chapman and then doing it all over...
Yeah he has some awesome videos. I also started watching his videos before I finally got my bike. I'm actually REALLY thinking about getting a GoPro camera and mounting it to my helmet to start recording my rides. Maybe I could start to become a motovlogger on YouTube as well.
It's hard to describe the feeling you get riding motorcycles to others; especially if they don't ride themselves.
The below video is from a motovlogger I follow on YouTube and I thought he summed it up pretty well. It's a nicely edited video and I hope you enjoy. :Sport:
I'm in Love
Changed my bikes oil today. Went full synthetic with a nice k&n filter. The filter has a bolt head on the end of it so it makes it easier to screw on and off. I've never seen that before using k&n filters on my cars. Pretty neat.
Negatives about the bike brought up (that I remember):
Swingarm looks ugly and doesn't flow with the style of the bike.
Rear fender is big and we wish it came stock a lot more tucked under the rear wheel for aesthetics reasons.
Most people didn't like the rabbit ear mirrors.
Everyone...
Was nice to met you and get to know a bit about you and your current and past riding experience. Even if it was a bit informal lol.
In case you don't remember, my name was Mike and I sat next to you.
I fail to remember the name of the other guy (I'm horrible at names), but I hope he finds...
I'm glad a few others were able to sign up. :)
I would have shared the phone number but I didn't think they would accept other people not on their "list".
Yeah from what I got out of the person signing me up on the phone it's going to be prototypes and ideas for future iterations on the fz6r that they want feedback on.
I was just invited to participate in a focus group for owners if a FZ6R, years 2011 to 2013. It's on Thursday May 30th in Irvine,CA at 5pm or 8pm (I picked 8pm since I have work). It's supposed to be about 2-2.5 hours long and they're paying $200.
I'm wondering if anyone on the forums managed...
This rider is a boss. With all the negative stuff in the news all the time, it's stuff like this that always restores my beliefs in humanity.
How many other people would do the same OR have already?

I know I'm posting on a thread that is several months old :zombie: but it's relevant to an experience I had this morning, so I wanted to post it here.
On my way to work today I was riding in the carpool lane and I got behind two people on choppers. For some reason they either a) weren't...
