I've had the FZ1 handlebars on my bike for a few years now and it's definitely an upgrade from stock, and it's cheap as well. As for the clearance, for me its only a minor issue when I lock the bike (it will still lock, albeit overtime, it will leave a scuff mark on the gas tank due to the screw...
From my experience, the stock tires ended up being pretty crap(09 bike). The rear tire didnt last too long, and the front tire started growing bubbles...
Hi guys! Long time no see. So, I searched the forum and it seems no one has posted this yet. I found it pretty hilarious, though the rider who hit first is an A-hole.

I have the shogun frame sliders. I've dropped the bike about 3 times. Twice tipped over, once in a minor accident. On the accident, the right side mirror broke off, the brake lever broke and very minor damage to the handlebar end. No scratches on actual frame.
I'd say go for it. In my opinion, the problem with young girls is that they're usually immature, but they crave sex a lot more. If this chick is mature and down to earth, then do it!
This X10000.
Unfortunately, I can say that what Pjmac stated happened to me. me and my ex were the same age...
First of all, glad you're ok. This is one reason why I sorta dislike riding during the fall/winter months. People are barely conscious of motorycles during the spring/summer and it seems MUCH less during the fall. SpawnXX has the right idea though.
I signed up for their beta. Hope to hear back from them. Either way, I think i will buy this helmet next year. I was thinking about buying that new rf-1200, but if this gets enough good reviews, i might just earn a bit more and buy the skully.
A real biker is someone who is NOT a squid on a sportbike or wears flip flops riding a harley. I think that's a pretty good starting point on defining a "real" biker.
My gas tank freaking gets stuck from time to time and occasionally have to lube it. One time I was at a gas station for 5 minutes straight trying to open the damn thing :(
EVERYONE PLEASE do yourselves a favor and watch the twist of the wrist movie:

Might as well buy twist of the wrist II book too. It's really cheap used on amazon.
Also, JonKerr, i've always admired how you ride the FZ6r. I wish there were more twisty...
