Question Is a delkevic full exhaust worth it?

As the title states I'm wondering if a delkevic full exhaust system is any good. I'd really like to get a better sound out of my 2013 fz6r and or a small amount of power, i know a two bros is a good exhaust system, but I can't justify spending around a quarter of what the bike is worth on one.
I know I can get a slip on, but I would like to keep the stock exhaust intact as not having crazy mods on the bike makes it easier to resell as it is still some what of a beginner bike.
So basically is a delkevic exhaust any good for the price of around $350, or would it be something I would end up regretting?
Now that I have posted this I believe I might have put it in the wrong place, I apologize if this is the case.

I really like mine, I have had for about 2 months now and it’s great. I have noticed that it breaths ten times better and the lower RPM range from 2000 to about 8000 it’s gotten more responsive. The install was pretty easy, a buddy of mine suggested getting a power commander for it cuz my gas mileage has dropped about 2-3 mpg in town but that could also be the way I’ve been riding.

I put one on two years ago. Also installed power Commander with marthys maps. Totally worth it in my opinion. I have the xsr900 now, and am considering another delkevic exhaust for that bike too. U will not regret it. Promise ya that.

I absolutely love mine, Jay Blue...this is my second year that I have it too. The value for the price is excellent, I looked at others as well, but the price seemed to me to be a little bit overpriced (like two bros one)
The installation process is not hard, I didn't do it myself because I was busy last year...I just gave it to the dealership when I changed my oil and they did it for me. If you do it yourself, I would recommend to get a friend to give you a hand, at some point will be beneficial to have somebody to hold it for you (you don't have to do any remap after the installation of the exhaust). Looking under the bike after one year of riding, is still looking great - no quality issues noticed at all.
The sound? FANTASTIC!!! I have the big one in carbon fiber...and the difference: like I upgraded from a scooter to a full size motorcycle! Seriously, I cannot go for a long drive without having my ear plugs under my full face Shoei helmet (wind plus exhaust noise is to much for me now).
I ordered mine from Amazon.ca, since I'm in Canada, ON - the Delkevic guys are actually selling it on Amazon.ca and they shipped it from USA. Since is Amazon.ca, you will not be slapped with some ridiculous brokerage fees or import fees because is coming from the states...the final price is the price that you pay for it on amazon.ca
In conclusion, I'm pretty sure you will like it...I did my research first before purchasing mine and I didn't find anyone saying that they didn't like.

I’ve been wondering this same thing. Definitely NO remap/re-tune after install? I’m really in this for sound and look, cause the look of that stock exhaust is my only complaint about the bike. I love the way the bike runs, I don’t want to have to mess with too much there. Of course it’s a plus if it runs even better!

I had an fz1 a while back, and purchased from someone who did all sorts of mods and it ended up being a royal pain to get it to run right (there were other issues, but the exhaust and fuel mapping was a pain)

I got the 14in carbon version ive had it about 2 seasons now and its great for the price. Quality is great. It sounds amazing and the 14in with the baffle out isnt too loud gives it a bit of sounds while not screaming like the shorter version so really for the price you cant go wrong. Just my opinion

Thanks for the info! Did you do a dyno tune or get a power commander?

Well to be completly honest I have done either yet lol. I know people say you should but personally i havent noticed any lose in power or that it has been running to lean or too rich so i never really bother ive put about 10 000 kms on since and had no issue.

Awesome, that’s what I was hoping to hear. I will consider doing a dyno tune (at the ecu) eventually, but I Just wanted to make sure it doesn’t NEED any of that to run well. Mostly doing this for sound and look. That bread box under my bike has GOT TO GO!

Thats exactly what my thought was too i hated that ugly stock exhaust it was too quiet also so i went with the 14in muffler so get a bit of sound and it sounds great
