Interesting.. I will definitely look into that.
Do you happen to have a picture of it on your bike? Just for reference. Naturally in my search I only found it on grills...
Hey all,
Any recommendations on a good outdoor motorcycle cover, preferably with straps? Right now the bike's in storage but this spring it will be sitting outside all year long. I got a bike cover from Amazon last year and both straps ripped by the fall. Looking to have something that at least...
Thanks for the replies!
The exhaust is just a slip-on. As mentioned though, I rather take it back to stock as much as possible, not modify it further. :)
I just want to keep the slip on because it sounds good, and I rather the bike be too loud than too quiet. You know, for "safety" reasons. ;)
Do I need a PC? I want it back as close to stock as possible, except the exhaust. Sounds quite nice.
It's apart for the most part. The tank is off. Just over 2000 miles on her, but I'm sure they're the original plugs from '09 so it wont hurt to change.
We also inspected it the other day, and...
Hey everyone,
Still in the process of bringing my bike back to stockish (except the exhaust that it came with).
One thing I noticed, the guy before me also turned my airbox into swiss cheese (not my pic but same thing):
Will this affect anything? Should I leave as is or just replace...

Great, thank you for the information! The biggest issue with the bike being as low as it is, is the brake line hits the body when turning.
Will look into everything mentioned and go from there. Will update.
Guy before him lowered it. Guy I bought from rode it a week, then realized it was too low for him, and it sat all summer in his garage until he decided to sell. Wasn't him that lowered it.
Hi All,
Picked up a 09 FZ6R last August. It's lowered (among other things). I don't like that.
Going back to OEM height, so I just want to confirm that I'm getting everything I need to do this properly. Parts and procedure. I do not have an owners manual.
Rear should be all set...
Yep, my thoughts exactly... budget r6 lol.
Rear link is gone. Not exactly sure how to raise the front up though. I think I just need OEM risers? New to doing pretty much anything on a bike. This is my second one.
I will likely get an OE handlebar as well. I like the look of the clipons, but I...
